What You Need to Know

Greetings of Peace! I am Khimber May P. Advincula, but you can call me Kym. A 20-year-old girl who loves anything related to art or music. Dancing, singing, and drawing are some of my interests. Meanwhile, sleeping or eating would probably be my most favorite "hobbies." My friends would describe me as friendly, outgoing, approachable, funny, and I guess I could say they are right.

I was born and raised in The Philippines, but my family and I moved abroad in 2013. I have been staying here in Brunei for eight years now. I can say that I grew up here as I've been here for a long time now, and this is the environment I am used to. Being Tagalog as my mother tongue, I also know or use some Malay languages as Brunei uses Malay (Bahasa Melayu) and English as their languages. However, I am not fluent in the Malay language as I am still trying to learn. 

I am currently a second-year college at Saint Louis University, taking Mass Communication. I chose this course because I have always wanted to be a travel writer. I want to pursue my chosen profession to achieve my aims; traveling and sharing my experiences with everyone. One day, I also want to learn to speak many different languages, making it easier to travel, connect, and communicate with people worldwide.
